About this vacancy
As a Advisor Openbare Ruimte at TMC, you work on projects that shape the living environment of today and tomorrow. You provide advice on the design, redevelopment, and management of streets, squares, parks, and infrastructure, with an eye for functionality, sustainability, accessibility, and aesthetics. You navigate between policy and implementation, translating the needs of residents and clients into feasible plans, ensuring that technical, societal, and spatial interests are well-aligned. You often collaborate with urban planners, designers, civil engineers, and managers. Whether it's about climate adaptation, greening, redevelopment, or traffic safety: you provide integrated advice that ensures plans are brought to life.
What we expect from you
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Development, or a similar field.
- 0 to 5 years of work experience as an advisor, project employee, or policy officer in public space.
- You have an affinity for spatial quality, outdoor space design, and participatory processes.
- You are strong in communication, analytical, and approach tasks in an integrated and results-oriented manner.
- Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or design software is a plus.
- You know how to align diverse interests into a widely supported plan.
