As an Energy Stakeholder Manager, you are the key player who connects everything together. You coordinate communication between various stakeholders, from residents and municipalities to businesses and societal organizations. You think ahead about the impact of projects and determine how to address it so that everyone feels heard and gains confidence in the new energy future.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing environmental plans that encompass both permit processes and regional support;
- Creating communication programs that provide transparency and alleviate uncertainties;
- Organizing meetings, discussions, and consultations with diverse stakeholders;
- Advising and supporting project teams in handling complex environmental challenges;
- Proactively solving problems and bottlenecks that arise during project implementation.
Together with your team, you ensure a smooth process from plan development to realization. You are the one who connects technology, the surrounding environment, and regulations, ensuring that sustainable projects truly contribute to livability and future resilience.
What we expect from you
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Studies, Spatial Planning, Engineering, or a comparable field;
- At least 5 years of experience in area management, preferably within the energy transition or similar sectors;
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations surrounding energy projects and permits;
- Experience in developing communication plans and organizing meetings with various stakeholders;
- A proactive and solution-oriented attitude with the ability to quickly tackle obstacles;
- Strong communication skills and a good ear for what's happening in the region;
- Passion for sustainability and the drive to contribute to a cleaner future.
