About this vacancy

This position is aimed at an entrepreneurial profile, capable of building and developing a client portfolio from scratch in a dynamic and performance-oriented environment. **Important**: There is no existing client portfolio when starting the position. The Business Manager’s mission will be to create, structure, and grow their commercial scope. As an IT Consulting Business Manager, you will be responsible for: **Commercial Development** - Identify and prospect new clients (large accounts, mid-sized businesses, startups); - Develop a client portfolio from scratch; - Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, meetings, negotiation, and closing; - Understand clients’ IT challenges and propose tailored solutions (technical assistance, packages, projects). **Management** - Ensure mission follow-ups: integration, performance, client and consultant satisfaction; - Be responsible for talent retention and engagement. **Operations and Strategy** - Manage the profitability of your scope (margin, day rates, staffing); - Participate in the development of offers; - Work closely with recruitment and HR teams to ensure the success of missions. **Key Priorities for the Role** - Creating and developing revenue; - Building a solid and sustainable client portfolio; - Ensuring the quality of client-consultant relationships; - Driving the economic performance of IT missions.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a Business Manager with:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Manager, Business Engineer, or Account Manager in IT consulting / ESN in Luxembourg
  • A strong ability to develop a commercial activity in a competitive environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • An entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset

Hard skills

  • B2B commercial development in IT
  • Sales of consulting services (technical assistance, projects, package deals)
  • Management and follow-up of IT consultants
  • Financial oversight and margin management
