About this vacancy

This position is aimed at an entrepreneurial profile, capable of building and developing a client portfolio from scratch in a dynamic and performance-oriented environment. Important: There is no existing client portfolio upon taking the position. The Business Manager's mission will be to create, structure, and grow their commercial scope. As an IT Consulting Business Manager, you will be responsible for: **Commercial Development:** - Identifying and prospecting new clients (large accounts, mid-sized companies, startups) - Developing a client portfolio from scratch - Managing the entire sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, meetings, negotiation, and closing - Understanding clients' IT challenges and proposing tailored solutions (technical support, fixed-price projects, projects) **Management:** - Ensuring follow-up on engagements: integration, performance, client satisfaction, and consultant satisfaction - Taking responsibility for talent retention and engagement **Operational Management and Strategy:** - Driving profitability within your scope (margin, average daily rate, staffing) - Participating in the development of service offerings - Collaborating closely with recruitment and HR teams to ensure mission success **Key Priorities of the Position:** - Creating and developing revenue - Building a solid and sustainable client portfolio - Ensuring quality relationships with clients and consultants - Achieving economic performance in IT engagements

What we expect from you

We are looking for a Business Manager with:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Manager, Business Engineer, or Account Manager in IT consultancy / ESN in Luxembourg
  • Strong ability to develop a business activity in a competitive environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and results-oriented mindset

Hard skills

  • B2B business development in IT
  • Sales of consultancy services (technical assistance, projects, fixed-price packages)
  • Management and supervision of IT consultants
  • Financial oversight and margin management
