About this vacancy

We are looking for a Business Analyst with at least 5 years of experience to strengthen an existing team. You will work in partnership with the current Business Analyst to assist with all functional analysis activities, from understanding business requirements to validating delivered solutions.

You will actively participate in business workshops, contribute to defining solutions (prototypes, mock-ups), write specifications for the development teams, and be involved in testing phases. You will also play a role as second-level functional support and serve as a link between users and technical teams.

What we expect from you

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Work environment 100% French-speaking
Participation in and facilitation of workshops with business teams
Ability to synthesize analyses and present conclusions in clear and concise formats
Contribution to the development of functional solutions (prototypes, mockups, user journeys)
Drafting of functional specifications for development teams
Execution of functional testing for new features
Support in identifying and monitoring KPI
Level 2 functional support: production interventions with administrator access, user assistance, acting as an interface between business and technical teams in case of incidents
Experience in the life insurance sector in Luxembourg is a plus (life insurance and capitalization contracts, unit-linked funds, dedicated funds, specialized insurance funds, etc.)
Ability to work in close collaboration within a team of Business Analysts
Aptitude for maintaining concise documentation, with a suitable level of formalism
Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, understanding their challenges and respective terminologies
Organization, transparency, and rigor in work
Proficiency in methods and practices: Agile modeling, user stories, workshop techniques (customer journey mapping, event storming, etc.)
Proficiency in tools: Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Visio, SQL, Office suite
