About this vacancy

We are looking for a Business Analyst with at least 5 years of experience to strengthen an existing team. You will work in tandem with the current Business Analyst to assist with all functional analysis activities, from understanding business needs to validating delivered solutions.

You will actively participate in business workshops, contribute to solution design (prototypes, mock-ups), draft specifications for the development teams, and take part in testing phases. Additionally, you will play a role as level-2 functional support and act as the link between users and technical teams.

What we expect from you

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Work environment 100% French-speaking
Participation in and facilitation of workshops with business teams
Ability to summarize analyses and present conclusions through clear and concise materials
Contribution to the development of functional solutions (prototypes, mockups, user journeys)
Drafting functional specifications for development teams
Performing functional testing of new features
Assistance in identifying and tracking KPI
Level 2 functional support: production interventions with administrator access, user support, serving as the interface between business and technical teams in case of incidents
Experience in the life insurance sector in Luxembourg is considered a plus (life insurance and capitalization contracts, unit-linked products, dedicated funds, specialized insurance funds, etc.)
Ability to work in close collaboration within a team of Business Analysts
Aptitude to maintain concise documentation with an appropriate level of formality
Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, understanding their respective challenges and vocabularies
Organization, transparency, and diligence in work
Proficiency in methods and practices: Agile modeling, user stories, workshop facilitation techniques (customer journey mapping, event storming, etc.)
Proficiency in tools: Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Visio, SQL, Office suite
