Wiring Harness Engineer

The resource will be responsible for the mechanical design of electrical wiring, ensuring proper integration within the systems and compliance with project, production, and environmental requirements.

About this vacancy

The role involves: - 2D/3D design of harnesses, with a focus on mechanical integration and installation constraints - Integration of wiring within structures, panels, and mechanical assemblies - Definition of associated technical documentation (installation drawings, BOM, ICD) - Support for integration, assembly, and testing activities - Verification of design compliance with technical standards and project specifications - Interaction with suppliers and production departments for the fabrication of wiring and related mechanical components

What we expect from you

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Experience in mechanical design of wiring/harness or in the integration of complex systems
Knowledge of mechanical, production, and installation constraints
Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly (Creo, NX Unigraphics, CATIA, or SolidWorks)
Familiarity with PLM systems, preferably Windchill, for product data and technical documentation management
Ability to read and draft technical documentation (drawings, BOM, ICD)
Good knowledge of technical English
Teamwork skills and ability to interact with various business functions
