About this vacancy

Main Responsibilities

Support activities of the propulsion subsystem based on Hall thruster technology and critical components.
Perform subsystem-level analysis.
Prepare technical documentation for development, testing, and project reviews.
Collaborate in the design and testing of the propulsion subsystem and equipment.
Manage suppliers: requirement definition, progress monitoring, participation in reviews.
Regularly report to the Propulsion Manager and Lead Propulsion Engineer.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with space engineering standards (ECSS, ANSI-AIAA).
Expertise in the design of fluidic systems.

What we expect from you

Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Plasma Physics (PhD preferred).
Professional English.
Native Italian speaker.
Solid experience in space propulsion.
Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
Experience in development, qualification, and testing of propulsion subsystems.
Subsystem-level analytical capabilities (cleanliness, contamination, gauging, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of propulsion-related technologies.
