About this vacancy

The role combines technical and analytical skills, supporting development teams and ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of databases. Responsibilities: - Installation, configuration, and updating of SQL Server instances - Database management, backup, and recovery procedures - Development, maintenance, and optimization of stored procedures, triggers, and T‑SQL scripts - Management of database installation and deployment scripts - Optimization of data storage, table structures, indexes, and queries - Performance monitoring and database tuning - Analysis and resolution of issues related to data, queries, and transactions - Collaboration with developers and system administrators for efficient data architectures - Preparation of technical documentation pertaining to procedures and optimizations

What we expect from you

Degree in Computer Engineering or related fields
Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2016, 2019, or later versions)
Excellent command of T‑SQL and complex queries
Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and data management scripts
Skills in indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning
Ability to manage SQL Server installations and configurations
Experience with backup/restore, high availability, and disaster recovery
Basic knowledge of networking and database security
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for data and performance
Experience with script and procedure versioning
Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation
Native Italian speaker, Fluent English
