We are now looking for a Software Engineer who wants to strengthen the IT team in Skövde and contribute to the development and management of applications within the VMS platform.

About this vacancy

In this role, you will primarily work with the development and support of applications on the VMS platform. The work involves both new development and ongoing enhancement in a technically complex environment where you collaborate closely with the organization and participate in requirements breakdown with key users. You will:

Develop and manage applications within the VMS platform.
Work on solutions for parallel processing.
Work in both frontend and backend environments.
Engage in dialogue with the organization's key users.
Participate in requirements workshops and contribute throughout the development process.

What we expect from you

We are curious about you as a trained engineer and would prefer if you have at least 4 years of experience working as a developer. We assume that you are fluent in both English and Swedish. As a person, you thrive in a team and contribute to a positive team spirit. You take responsibility for results and are both self-driven and solution-oriented. You are technically curious, innovative, and have a strong customer focus. At the same time, you have the ability to work in a structured manner even in a changing and demanding environment. Furthermore, we would like you to have:

Experience in system development.
The ability and willingness to work both frontend and backend.
A good understanding of the entire system development lifecycle (analysis, development, testing, CI).
Experience with VMS Platform.
Strong knowledge of .NET development.
