Project Lead Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Project Lead Engineer to lead cost-saving projects at DAF. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and coordinating projects.

About this vacancy

Responsibilities:

Set up planning and budgets for cost-saving projects.
Review risk analyses and validation planning.
Ensure the change management process and necessary communication to all stakeholders.
Proactively identify and resolve deviations to ensure progress on project deliverables.
Report to management on project progress.

What we expect from you

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the automotive sector.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with cost-saving projects and change management.

Practical Information:

Salary depending on education level, seniority, and relevant experience.
25 vacation days with the option to purchase 5 additional days at cost price.
€2,200 per year training budget for professional or personal development through courses and/or personal coaching by external coaches.
€2,200 marketing budget for work-related activities such as company visits, trade shows, or other relevant events.
