About this vacancy

As a Control Engineer, you will work at the intersection of mechanical dynamics and control engineering, translating complex dynamic behavior into practical system improvements. You are familiar with the fundamentals of eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes of mechanical structures and know how to perform modal analyses to predict and optimize system behavior. You can derive multi-dimensional lumped-mass models and correlate them with FEM and experimental results. You are capable of validating dynamic performance through system identification and experimental modal analysis. Preferably, you have a background in non-linear dynamics and can formulate and analyze specific non-linearities in mechanical systems, translating them into innovative solutions.

You are fluent in control engineering terminology and well-versed in linear control theory and controller synthesis. You can interpret Bode diagrams, apply loop-shaping techniques, and evaluate closed-loop system behavior. Experience with advanced control methods such as robust or adaptive control is a plus.

What we expect from you

A PhD degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Dynamics and Control
At least 5 years of relevant work experience, either in industry or academia
