About this vacancy

Your Challenge

As a Mechatronic System Engineer at TMC, you will be responsible for the integration of mechanics, electronics, control systems, and software in advanced machines or products. You will contribute throughout the system development life cycle — from concept, design, and integration to validation and optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

Translating customer requirements into system architecture and mechatronic concepts
System integration and balancing design trade-offs across disciplines
Collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
Supporting prototype build, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Participating in technical reviews, risk analysis, and design validations

What we expect from you

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking professionals with a passion for high-tech innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications:

Master’s or PhD degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems & Control, or related field
2+ years of experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment (junior and senior profiles welcome)
Solid knowledge of system dynamics, control engineering, and precision mechanics
Familiarity with tools like MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, or similar
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus
