What we expect from you

| YOUR CHALLENGE? We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer, specialized in the use of CATIA, to join our team dedicated to the development of armored vehicles. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components for our armored vehicles, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. In this role, you will be tasked with:

Leading the design process, from preliminary concepts to detailed studies, in collaboration with the architect, backed and validated by experts (dimensioning, component selection) while adhering to professional standards;
Planning all development activities (CAD design, calculations, supplier development, validation, etc.);
Designing and developing mechanical components for military vehicles within the scope of chassis/armored chassis using CATIA;
Creating detailed 3D models and accurate technical drawings;
Collaborating with engineers, production teams, and other departments to ensure design integrity;
Taking part in design reviews and implementing modifications based on feedback;
Performing tolerance analyses and simulations to ensure the reliability and durability of components;
Following industry standards and safety regulations specific to armored vehicles;
Ensuring the quality and compliance of the deliverables provided;
Driving product/process development activities for the functions/components under your responsibility, adhering to professional rules to meet the quality, cost, deadline, and performance objectives;
Ensuring documentation updates for the relevant scope.

What you can expect from us

| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the Defense or Automotive sectors;
Proficiency in CATIA V5 or V6;
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials;
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively;
Attention to detail and aptitude for solving complex technical problems;
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to armored vehicles is a plus;
Expertise in 3D modeling and creating technical drawings using CATIA;
Experience in project management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Fluency in English is an asset.
