About this vacancy

We are looking for a Flight Operations Engineer to support the mission operations of a satellite throughout all its operational phases. The role will involve monitoring the satellite, executing commands, mission planning, and constant collaboration with technical teams such as AOCS, GNC, On-Board Software, Flight Dynamics, and Ground Segment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor the satellite through the Mission Control System.
Analyze telemetry, send commands, and manage FDIR activities.
Support LEOP through dedicated shifts.
Coordinate with Flight Dynamics for orbital maneuvers and AOCS operations.
Prepare operational procedures, daily reports, and mission plans.
Use simulators, EGSE, and SCOS-2000 or equivalent systems.

What we expect from you

Technical degree: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics or equivalent.
Native Italian speaker, fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish considered a plus.
Knowledge of TT&C, AOCS/GNSS, and CCSDS protocols.
Ability to analyze telemetry and availability to work in shifts.
Willingness to travel within Europe.
