You ensure that these projects are not only technically successful but also socially and societally impactful.
As an Energy Environmental Manager, you are the linchpin that connects everything. You coordinate communication between various stakeholders, from residents and municipalities to companies and societal organizations. You anticipate the impact of projects and determine how this is addressed, ensuring everyone feels heard and gains trust in the new energy future.
Your tasks include:
- Developing environmental plans that encompass both permitting processes and regional support;
- Creating communication programs that provide transparency and alleviate uncertainties;
- Organizing meetings, consultations, and gatherings with diverse stakeholders;
- Advising and supporting project teams in addressing complex environmental issues;
- Proactively solving problems and bottlenecks that arise during project execution.
Together with your team, you ensure that the process from plan development to realization runs smoothly. You are the one who connects technology, environment, and regulations, ensuring that sustainable projects truly contribute to livability and future readiness.
What we expect from you
- A completed HBO or WO degree in Environment, Spatial Planning, Technology, or a similar field;
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the energy transition or a comparable sector;
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to energy projects and permits;
- Experience in developing communication plans and organizing meetings with various stakeholders;
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude with the ability to tackle obstacles swiftly;
- Strong communication skills and an attentive ear for what is happening in the region;
- Passion for sustainability and the drive to contribute to a cleaner future.
