As an Environmental Manager Energy, you are the crucial link connecting everything. You coordinate communication between various stakeholders, from residents and municipalities to companies and societal organizations. You anticipate the impact of projects and determine how to address it, ensuring everyone feels heard and gains confidence in the new energy future.
Your tasks include:
- Developing environmental plans that include both permit processes and local support in the region;
- Drafting communication programs that provide transparency and alleviate uncertainties;
- Organizing meetings, consultations, and discussions with various stakeholders;
- Advising and supporting project teams in handling complex environmental challenges;
- Proactively solving issues and bottlenecks that arise during project implementation.
Together with your team, you ensure a smooth transition from plan development to realization. You are the one who connects technology, environment, and regulations, guaranteeing that sustainable projects genuinely contribute to livability and long-term sustainability.
What we expect from you
- A completed higher professional (hbo) or university (wo) education in Environmental Studies, Spatial Planning, Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the energy transition or a similar sector;
- In-depth knowledge of legislation and regulations related to energy projects and permits;
- Experience in developing communication plans and organizing meetings with various stakeholders;
- A proactive and solution-oriented attitude with the ability to quickly tackle obstacles;
- Strong communication skills and an attentive ear for what is happening in the region;
- Passion for sustainability and the drive to contribute to a cleaner future.
