About this vacancy

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and improving our software development and deployment processes. If you are passionate about streamlining workflows, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and collaborating across teams, we invite you to contribute to our innovative and forward-thinking environment.

Purpose of The Role:

Drive Automation: Build smart automation for deployments, infrastructure, and configuration to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Own CI/CD: Design and manage pipelines that enable fast, reliable releases (AWS, Azure DevOps, SonarQube).
Shape Infrastructure as Code: Use IaC to develop scalable and repeatable infrastructure (Terraform).
Stay Ahead with Monitoring: Implement proactive monitoring and logging to identify issues before they become significant.
Master Containerization: Develop and orchestrate containerized applications using modern tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, etc.).
Bridge Dev & Ops: Act as a connector—promoting collaboration and enhancing workflows across teams.
Champion Security: Implement best practices for access, vulnerability management, and compliance.
Optimize Performance: Continuously fine-tune systems for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
Implement and test backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Document for Success: Maintain clear and accessible documentation to support onboarding and compliance.

What we expect from you

Education: M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Tech Skills: Strong scripting/programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell), configuration management, and hands-on experience with DevOps tools.
Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with Azure, AWS,…
Containers: Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
CI/CD: Practical knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools for build, test, and deployment.
IaC: Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
Monitoring: Understanding of monitoring and logging tools and best practices.
Ability to implement security measures across DevOps processes.
Languages: Good command of Italian and English is mandatory.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel or relocate for medium/long periods is a plus.
