About this vacancy

As a buyer in the Operational Excellence team, you will play a key role in a purchasing team working with our customers in and around Gothenburg. The work as a buyer includes, among other tasks, but is not limited to: · Ensuring that purchasing activities are carried out according to plan and in compliance with company policy · Ensuring that purchasing activities align with laws and regulations · Securing the right total cost, quality, and lead time · Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers to ensure favorable purchasing conditions and long-term partnerships · Identifying efficiency improvements needed to remove bottlenecks · Preparing materials for negotiations and/or procurement processes It is advantageous if, in addition to this, you also have experience in sourcing new suppliers and contract drafting.

What we expect from you

We are curious about you, who are a university-trained engineer or civil engineer—preferably within Industrial Economics or Supply Chain—and possess at least 5 years of experience in purchasing, advantageously within the manufacturing industry. You are a driven and natural communicator with experience in successful negotiation, as well as cost analysis and follow-up. Creating meaningful and professional relationships is essential to you; you thrive working in a team while also being independent and willingly taking your own initiatives. We assume that you speak both English and Swedish fluently at a professional level.
