Automotive Systems Engineer

About this vacancy

As an Automotive Systems Engineer, you will work on the design, integration, and optimization of complex vehicle systems, bridging mechanical, electronic, and software domains. Your focus will be on ensuring that subsystems such as powertrain, chassis, steering, braking, and vehicle electronics work seamlessly together to meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements. You will operate at the intersection of Mechatronics and Control Engineering, applying model-based design tools like MATLAB and Simulink to develop and validate system-level solutions.

Your Challenges

• Design, model, and integrate complex vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety

• Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces for subsystems across the vehicle

• Collaborate with control engineers, software developers, mechanical engineers, and electronics specialists

• Conduct system validation, simulation, and testing at component and vehicle level

• Analyze system behavior, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements

• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and functional safety regulations (ISO 26262)

What we expect from you

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with system-level design, integration, and modeling

• Familiarity with model-based development and system simulation

• Knowledge of embedded control systems, automotive standards, and vehicle architectures

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
