About this vacancy

As an AIT Manager, you will be the project focal point for all AIT activities, with responsibilities for planning, coordinating, and overseeing resources, schedules, costs, and quality. You will work across technical and project departments, interfacing with clients, test facilities, and management. The role requires a strong operational presence and solid technical expertise in Optical and/or satellite systems, and involves direct reporting to the Head of the MAIT Department.

What we expect from you

Master's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Physics Engineering or equivalent qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience in AIT/Management field
Solid practical knowledge of mechanics, physics, optics
Experience in AIT planning (AIT Plan, Flow, WBS/WPD, scheduling, and costs)
Ability to evaluate and control AIT costs (labor and non-labor, ETC/EAC)
Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary resources, including those outside the AIT department
Ability to organize single or double shifts and critical campaign activities
Reporting skills towards management and operational teams
Familiarity with space sector documentation and reviews (IRR, TRR, PTR, NRB, requirements, and procedures)
Problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, and definition of corrective actions
Knowledge of space sector quality principles in clean rooms and operational environments
Ability to capitalize on lessons learned and apply them to subsequent activities
Availability for medium/long-term missions, shift work, weekends, and holidays if required by project milestones
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, and Project Control tools; use of CAD Viewer
Excellent command of the English language
