Gain international experience with the VIE program
The VIE program is an amazing opportunity for young professionals to gain international experience and work on cutting-edge projects in a foreign country. You will be accompanied by Business France under the protection of the Embassy of France and supervised by TMC. Our unique and transparent business model – known as Employeneurship – goes hand in hand with the VIE Program. With employeneurship you get all the tools to become the best version of yourself and grow rapidly as a professional. These five principles will make sure that you kick-start your career at TMC as a VIE.
- The VIE contract offers you a 1-year contract in an international environment, with the possibility of extending it for another year. This valuable experience abroad can lead to a permanent contract within TMC (group).
- Full transparency. You know your hourly rate and your costs. The VIE contract is even more interesting since your salary is tax free, both for you and the employer!
- Work on your soft and hard skills, with the support of a technical mentor. You get an annual study budget of €2000.
- You’re not alone on your journey abroad. You’ll become part of your own business cell. Business cells are small, focused and function as high-grade knowledge networks. And as buzzing communities of close colleagues.
- The Entrepreneurial Lab is the superlative of Employeneurship. No rules, just room to play. Work on your technical dreams and initiate your own projects. Collaborate with experts in various fields and discover true entrepreneurship.
Requirements
As a VIE candidate you have to:
- Be a citizen of one of the 27 European Member Countries;
- Be registered on Business France's platform before turning 28 years old;
- Start the contract before turning 29 years old;
- Be free of any kind of lawsuit.
Careful! You cannot:
- Be a citizen of the host country;
- Have paid taxes in the host country over the last 6 months before the VIE program's starting date;
- Have done another VIE contract (regardless of the duration) within another company.
