About this vacancy
As a Systems Engineer, you are the key link between mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. You will work on the development of complex mechatronic systems and be responsible for the design, integration, and technical coordination of the overall system. You ensure that all subsystems work together seamlessly and that the final product meets both functional and technical requirements.
Your responsibilities
· Design and specify mechatronic systems at the system level
· Coordinate the integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components
· Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
· Create and maintain system documentation, specifications, and interfaces
· Guide design and development processes in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
· Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and final products
· Align with suppliers and partners on technical requirements and quality standards
What we expect from you
· A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
· At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment
· Knowledge of system architecture, integration processes, and design principles
· Experience with tools such as CAD, EPLAN, Matlab/Simulink, or similar engineering software
· Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
· Good communication skills in Dutch
