About this vacancy

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in developing precision mechanical systems for advanced semiconductor equipment. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex requirements into robust, manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and model high-precision mechanical components and assemblies using Siemens NX
Create detailed technical drawings and documentation in accordance with industry and company standards
Manage product lifecycle data and revisions using Teamcenter PLM
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and process engineering
Support prototype development, testing, and design validation
Apply and advocate for strong Design Principles throughout the development process
Engage with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency

What we expect from you

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech industry
Proficient in Siemens NX and Teamcenter
Strong understanding of precision mechanics, materials, and manufacturing techniques
Demonstrated experience applying Design Principles in complex engineering environments
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset

Practical Information:

Salary between €4,200 and €6.800, depending on education level, seniority, and relevant experience.
25 vacation days with the option to purchase 5 additional days at cost price.
€2,200 per year training budget for professional or personal development through courses and/or personal coaching by external coaches.
€2,200 marketing budget for work-related activities such as company visits, trade shows, or other relevant events.
