About this vacancy

As an RTL Verification Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital hardware designs. You’ll work closely with design and software teams to define, analyze, and verify technical solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing technical requirements and supporting the design team in defining and verifying solutions.
  • Working with technical documentation, including internal specifications and third-party vendor materials.
  • Interpreting VHDL code and collaborating with designers to ensure effective verification.
  • Developing robust, self-checking testbenches at the module level and contributing to top-level verification.
  • Proposing improvements to architecture and processes based on best practices and industry trends.
  • Acting as a technical sparring partner for design and embedded software engineers.
  • Driving continuous improvement in verification methodologies, tools, and workflows.

What we expect from you

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar verification role within an R&D environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with verification planning and developing self-checking testbenches.
  • Familiarity with UVM-based frameworks (preferably PyUVM).
  • Proficiency in Python (object-oriented) and scripting languages such as Shell and TCL/Tk.
  • Solid understanding of VHDL and experience with simulation tools (e.g., Cadence Xcelium, Synopsys VCS).
  • Knowledge of processor and bus architectures (e.g., AMBA AXI, Avalon).
  • Experience with Git for version control.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cocotb or open-source simulators (e.g., GHDL, NVC).
  • Knowledge of C/C++, SystemVerilog, or CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Podman).
  • Hands-on experience with FPGA or ASIC toolchains.
