About this vacancy

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Monitoring Engineer to join the IT Operations team of our client. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving monitoring solutions across mission-critical systems, with a strong focus on Linux-based environments. This role is essential to ensuring system stability and performance in a high-demand, 24/7 operational context.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, configure, and maintain monitoring tools for infrastructure, applications, and services
Focus on Linux server monitoring and performance optimization
Collaborate with IT Ops and other technical teams to define KPIs and alerting thresholds
Analyze monitoring data to detect anomalies and prevent incidents
Support incident response and post-incident reviews using monitoring insights
Contribute to automation and observability improvements across the stack

What we expect from you

Profile:

At least 5 years of proven experience in IT operations or monitoring/observability roles
Strong expertise in Linux system administration and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
Scripting and automation skills (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Strong communication and analytical skills
Fluency in English and French
