About this vacancy

As a Digital System Architect, you’ll be at the forefront of developing advanced FPGA-based control platforms, with a roadmap toward ASIC integration. This role goes beyond circuit design, it's about enabling technological breakthroughs in cutting-edge scientific and engineering domains.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers (RF, embedded, software, hardware) to co-develop architecture and design for next-generation control systems.
  • Lead the digital architecture efforts, with opportunities to expand into embedded software.
  • Translate market and product requirements into scalable, robust system designs.
  • Provide technical leadership across the R&D department, guiding development and implementation.
  • Contribute to IP generation and maintain awareness of the IP landscape relevant to the technology.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

What we expect from you

To thrive in this role, you likely bring:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Digital System Architect in FPGA/ASIC domains (e.g. processor design, RF systems, serial interfaces, DSP).
  • Deep understanding of digital design flows and verification methodologies.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • System engineering
    • RF and analog-digital integration
    • CPU architecture
    • Digital signal processing
    • High-speed data converters
    • Serial communication protocols (JESD, Ethernet, TCP/IP, PCIe, RDMA, MGT)
