Data Scientist - Computer Vision

TMC is looking for a versatile and driven Data Scientist – Computer Vision to support the development of advanced image analysis solutions.

About this vacancy

You will work on custom instance-segmentation models, image processing pipelines, and data-driven insights that contribute directly to real-world applications.

Visualize processed images with overlays and segmentation masks.
Implement interactive tools for image manipulation (e.g., mask erasing).
Extract object-level metrics such as area, aspect ratio, and shape descriptors using Python-based libraries.
Perform statistical analysis on image-derived data (e.g., percentiles, distributions).
Create visualizations such as histograms and parameter plots.
Collaborate with internal data scientists to support deeper analytical tasks.

What we expect from you

MSc or PhD in Data Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
Experience with Python and libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, Matplotlib, and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
Strong understanding of image processing and machine learning techniques.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
