About this vacancy
We’re seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on mission critical environments, primarily data centers. This role involves leading the commissioning of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with client goals.
You’ll be responsible for reviewing designs, executing functional tests, documenting procedures, and collaborating with project teams from design through occupancy. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience with HVAC and control systems, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
If you have 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or commissioning within mission critical projects, and you're ready to travel and take ownership of complex systems, we’d love to hear from you.
What we expect from you
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commissioning Engineer with strong technical expertise and a passion for mission critical environments. You should be comfortable managing complex systems, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
Key expectations include:
- Proven experience commissioning mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to lead testing, documentation, and reporting across all project phases.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and instrumentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to guide junior engineers.
- Familiarity with commissioning standards (ASHRAE, BCxA) and BMS/EPMS systems.
- Willingness to travel (50–75%) and comply with PPE and safety protocols.
- A client-first mindset and the ability to respond professionally to inquiries.
