As a purchaser in the Operational Excellence team, you will be an important part of a procurement team working at our clients in and around Gothenburg. The work as a purchaser includes, but is not limited to:

·      Ensuring procurement activities are carried out according to plan and in compliance with company policy

·      Ensuring procurement activities are aligned with laws and regulations

·      Ensuring optimal total cost, quality, and lead time

·      Maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing suppliers to secure favorable purchasing conditions as well as long-term relationships

·      Identifying required efficiencies to reduce bottlenecks

·      Preparing materials for negotiations and/or procurement processes

In addition, it is considered an advantage if you also have experience in sourcing new suppliers and contract drafting.

Vad vi förväntar oss av dig

We are curious about you if you are educated as a university- or civil engineer – preferably within Industrial Economics or Supply Chain, and have at least 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the manufacturing industry.

You are a driven and natural communicator with experience in successful negotiation, as well as cost analysis and follow-up. Creating meaningful and professional relationships is essential to you – you enjoy working in teams while also being independent and gladly taking initiatives.

We assume that you speak both English and Swedish fluently and at a professional level.
