The agility of a start-up and the resources of a larger company

Cansu began her career working on railway measurement vehicles and trucks. She gained a lot of experience in ultrasonic testing and system commissioning. However, her career took a significant turn when she worked on a project converting diesel vehicles to electric. “This was my first experience with high-voltage systems”, she explains. “Switching from diesel to electric wasn’t just about changing the powertrain. It was a complete shift in technology and mindset. I had to learn everything from scratch, but it was a great challenge.”

Nowadays, Cansu works as a field analyst for medium and heavy trucks for one of our clients. She analyzes, diagnoses, and solves issues with high-voltage systems, such as batteries and electric drivetrains. Together with her team, she ensures that customer-reported problems are resolved quickly. “The hardest part of my job is communication between different teams”, she says. “High-voltage systems are complex, and everyone needs to work together to keep things running smoothly.”

Her recruitment process allowed her to first meet the TMC team, followed by technical discussions with the clients’ team she joined. “After presenting my technical qualifications, I was genuinely pleased by the welcoming and family-like atmosphere within my new team. In addition to her expertise in high-voltage systems and trucks, Cansu has gained valuable experience in software testing and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). She has worked with CAN communication stacks and vehicle diagnostics, making her a key figure in the field. When discussing the future of the automotive industry, she highlights electric vehicles (EV’s) and autonomous driving as key innovations. “Electric vehicles are already changing how we think about transportation,” she says. “The move to electric is inevitable, and I’m proud to be working with these systems.”

And always focus on communication and teamwork—that’s the key to solving problems faster.” She also addresses the challenge of working as a woman in a male-dominated industry. “Being a woman in the automotive field sometimes requires extra effort, but this is not a barrier. It has made me stronger.”
