Our client operates in one of the most challenging and rapidly evolving industries in the world: aerospace. They produce world-class products and services—including solar panels, launch vehicles, instruments, and optical communication systems. These enable missions that are essential to everyday life on Earth, such as satellite navigation, communication, climate research, and air quality monitoring.

In their state-of-the-art facilities, a team of over 200 dedicated professionals designs, develops, assembles, tests, and delivers aerospace products and services.

They are currently looking for a Work Preparer, who will report hierarchically to the Head of AIT, Head of Production, or Team Lead.

You will be responsible for integrated planning of activities within the AIT department, including the allocation of personnel and facilities for assigned projects. You will facilitate projects by organizing all necessary (logistical) preparations before project start, including work instructions. Additionally, you will introduce and guide (digital) improvement initiatives.

Qué esperamos de ti

• You plan work at a high level, long-term and in detail; monitor work sequences, lead times, and utilization of personnel and resources.
• You adjust planning in response to changes and coordinate the impact with stakeholders.
• You manage planning methodologies: identify improvement opportunities, initiate adjustments, coordinate changes, implement improvements, and monitor execution.
• You identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities (Continuous Improvement), prepare solutions and improvement proposals, and introduce them.
• You identify obstacles, document them, and prepare alternative solutions.
• You prepare work instructions and procedures for assembly and test activities and review technical drawings.

Qué puedes esperar de nosotros

• You will collaborate with direct colleagues, AIT Managers, Work Package Managers, Team Leads, and the Head of AIT / Head of Production to align work and provide advice.
• You will coordinate with colleagues from the Project Management Office (PMO), Procurement, Logistics, and Engineering.
• You will exchange knowledge within the organization in the field of Manufacturing Engineering (work preparation).
• You will engage with external experts to exchange knowledge on planning methodologies and software systems.
