Stable and innovation-focused economy
TMC Group CEO Emmanuel Mottrie states: “We have recently entered an exciting new growth phase, partially organically and partially through acquisitions backed by our lead investor Apheon and newly joined investor MML Capital. Our entry into Switzerland follows shortly after our expansions into Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Switzerland’s eco-conscious industry landscape and stable, innovation-focused economy at the heart of Europe, offer a fertile ground for TMC’s unique business model, combining entrepreneurial spirit with technical excellence. We are thrilled to be strengthening our position as a global partner in hightech development fast, while staying rooted in local culture and expertise.”
Responding to client demand
The new entity will be led by Irina Chevalier, as CEO of the new office, and Alain Chenafi, who will handle operational management. With dual MSc degrees in Biochemistry and Biotechnologies, as well as Statistics, Alain Chenafi brings a strong scientific foundation combined with business development expertise. Over the past 10 years, he has built a solid track record in sales development, working across France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. “Joining TMC marks an exciting new chapter for me. Switzerland’s stable economy, multilingual landscape, and proximity to our existing offices in France, Germany, and Italy make it an ideal environment for our next phase of growth. Many of our existing clients run operations in Switzerland too, so bringing our talent to the Swiss market responds directly to client demand and market potential”, says Alain Chenafi.
Bringing 'Employeneurship' to Switzerland
What sets TMC apart from other hightech consulting firms is its unique “Employeneurship” model. This innovative business model combines the benefits of contract employment and the freedom of entrepreneurship for its technology talent. The model is based on five basic principles: individual profit sharing, personal coaching and training, long-term employment, communities of experts and the Entrepreneurial Lab, where employeneurs can develop their own ideas and innovative technologies. Entrepreneurship, personal responsibility, autonomy and transparency are key. With the introduction of Employeneurship in Switzerland, TMC aims to attract the best talent in the region.
