Accelerating our acquisition strategy in high-tech and digital consultancy

We are stepping up our buy-and-build strategy to further strengthen our position in high-tech and digital consultancy. With the renewed shareholder structure involving Apheon and MML Capital, we are now able to complement our organic growth with a more ambitious acquisition approach. Our goal: four to six acquisitions a year.

In recent years, we have already completed several successful strategic deals, including Adventec Consulting (2025), Guldberg and Personites (2024), Open Pixel Systems (2024) and Mobilee (2023).

Strengthening our strategic direction

Our acquisitions support a broader mission: to help clients accelerate their R&D and development processes while increasing technological capability and scale. At the same time, our business model gives our employeneurs access to innovative projects at technology companies worldwide. This combines the security of permanent employment with the freedom of entrepreneurship, profit sharing and room for personal development. It enables us to be an attractive home for highly skilled technical talent and a reliable partner for clients looking for engaged and proactive professionals.

Growth without compromising entrepreneurship

What we look for in acquisition partners

Although cultural and strategic alignment are essential, we have also defined clear criteria for potential partners. We are interested in organisations active in Technology & Engineering, Life Sciences & Pharma, Energy & Renewables and Digital & IT, as well as in advanced fields such as photonics, nanotechnology, embedded software, data science and physics.

Ideal acquisition candidates have revenues between €5 million and €100 million and employ between 50 and 1,000 engineers. We focus on countries where we are already present, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain and France, but we are also open to entering new markets such as Poland and Finland.

We currently operate in 17 countries and generate more than €300 million in revenue. Our ambition is to employ 10,000 employeneurs by 2035.
