• Develop and implement tooling solutions that integrate seamlessly with our partners’ engineering environments.
• Build prototypes and demonstrators from scratch using various technologies.
• Analyze partner needs and select the right technologies for each project.
• Design and develop software solutions that enhance product development cycles at different stages.
• Translate academic research results into practical, scalable industry solutions.
• Collaborate with research fellows, team members, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Continuously improve existing tools and methodologies.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies, academic research, and industry trends.

Wat we van jou verwachten

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in scientific programming and software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C++, and Python (production-level experience required).
• Familiarity with Domain-Specific Language technologies (Xtext, Xtend, Lark, Langium).
• Exposure to modeling formalisms such as state machines, Petri nets, Z3, OCL, or Prolog.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, React) is a plus.
• Experience creating prototypes from concept to implementation.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles and best practices.
• Ability to apply academic research to real-world industry challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects independently.
