About this vacancy
As a Layout Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team within our Project Engineering department. You’ll contribute to the design and execution of innovative material handling systems for international clients. From developing detailed 3D models to coordinating BIM interfaces, your work will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in system design processes.
- Developing and finalizing 3D designs, from initial sketches to customer approval.
- Detailing mechanical designs and specifications for equipment.
- Managing revisions of 3D models and coordinating BIM interfaces.
- Collaborating with engineers and other professionals to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Wat we van jou verwachten
What we expect from you
- A bachelor’s degree (HTS/HBO) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Proficiency in mechanical design tools such as AutoCAD and REVIT.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to anticipate project risks and develop practical solutions.
- A team-oriented attitude, with a passion for working in multidisciplinary, international environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10%).
