Thermomechanical Engineer

You’ll support a team developing satellite systems, contributing throughout the entire product lifecycle, from early-stage concepts to final assembly and system qualification. You'll evaluate customer requirements and design practical, high-performance mechanical solutions.

• Translating functional needs into clear engineering specifications across domains like mechanical, thermal, electrical, RF, and AOCS.
• Leading design trade-offs and performing detailed development work, followed by qualification and validation testing.
• Finalizing production-ready designs through documentation, drawings, material choices, and tolerance analyses.
• Defining and verifying interface documentation to ensure seamless integration with external suppliers and partners.
• Supporting testing phases such as thermal/mechanical validation, system assembly, and tooling or support equipment setup.

Wat we van jou verwachten

• Proven experience in aerospace CAD design, with practical expertise in structural and/or thermal modeling
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, standards, and technical drawings
• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. mechanical, aerospace, systems engineering)
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
• 3+ years of experience in similar role
