TMC Belgium is looking for several IT System Engineers based on our customer’s premises in multiple locations across Belgium to provide support on System Engineering activities

Over deze vacature
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining, optimizing, and supporting our Windows-based infrastructure while contributing to ongoing projects and system improvements.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based servers and systems.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the IT infrastructure.
- Support virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system implementations and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell).
- Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for IT incidents and service requests.
- Document system configurations and operational processes.
Wat we van jou verwachten
Bachelor, Master or PhD Degree in Engineering (e.g. Computer science, Cybernetics, mechatronics ) or Science (Mathematics, Physics)
- Experience with Windows (Server) administration (AD, DC, DNS, GPO, Intune...)
- Experience/knowledge of Linux operating system
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure, mainly Microsoft Azure
- Insight in network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, SSL, ...
- Experience/knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. specifically Cacit, PRTG & Azure monitoring)
- Experience in scripting (Python, Bash, Powershell, ...)
- 3+ years of experience in system administration and support or ICT infrastructure implementations
- Hands-on IT system/network administration
- Affinity with software development and DevOps in a .NET & Azure environment
- You like taking charge and have good communication and social skills
- French and English should be perfect written en spoken
