QC Coordinator - Life Sciences department

We are seeking a highly motivated QC Coordinator to join the Quality Control team. The QC team is mainly responsible for method transfer, training, and SME support to our decentralized manufacturing units (DMUs). Furthermore, the team is involved in the overall strategy on scaling our decentralized network, ensuring compliant and efficient processes to strengthen and enhance our model.

In this role, the QC Coordinator will be tasked with the management of sample logistics and results between contracting testing labs and DMUs. Furthermore, the QC coordinator will keep oversight over the QC materials used at the DMUs and will function as point of contact for incoming goods for the team. Additionally, the QC coordinator will lead and coordinate implementation of different QC related projects at the DMUs (e.g. new methods, technology, or products).

Responsibilities

• Coordination of sample logistics and results between contracting testing labs and DMUs;
• coordinate with Global QC incoming goods to ensure reliable material supply;
• lead and coordinate implementation of different QC related projects;
• provide input on the contract testing strategy for the EU region;
• write and review documentation related to QC;
• collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that the processes are aligned and communicated;
• ensure improvements that are designed and implemented are compliant while keeping simple and efficient.

Wat we van jou verwachten

The ideal candidate has a strong pharmaceutical background in Quality Control within an Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulated environment.

• BSc/MSc in life sciences, biotechnology, or related discipline;
• around 5-years’ experience in QC in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry;
• experience with contracting testing lab management and sample management;
• project management experience;
• strong knowledge of GMP guidelines;
• strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
• ability to be flexible with changing priorities;
• self-driven and can-do mindset;
• combination of conceptual thinking with pragmatic approach to implementation;
• willingness to travel.
