We are seeking a skilled JIRA/Automation Engineer to develop, maintain, and support automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA. The role involves creating automation solutions to streamline workflows, enhance data handling, and explore the use of AI within JIRA processes. You will also contribute to technical documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsabilities:

JIRA Workflow Automation:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA to improve task management and streamline ticket handling.

Automation Development:

• Build automation solutions around JIRA workflow execution, data exploration, and AI integration to optimize processes and reduce manual effort.

Technical Documentation and Support:

• Write clear documentation, unit tests, and recommendations to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Provide ongoing support for automation processes and tools.

Wat we van jou verwachten

Required Skills and Experience:

Programming & Automation Tools:

• Strong experience with Python, Google Cloud, JIRA, and API handling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation using Jenkins.
• Basic understanding of UNIX/Linux OS and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

Version Control & Repositories:

• Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.
• Preferably experienced with GitHub Enterprise and Artifactory for managing software repositories.

Additional Skills:

• Basic networking skills to support automation processes.
• Experience with Apache Groovy or other programming languages is a plus.
