As an FPGA engineer you are experienced in designing FPGAs using VHDL. You will be working in the most challenging R&D environments where you collect requirements and make the specification and design of FPGAs. You also test and verify your design with SystemVerilog. Our customers mainly work with Xilinx or Altera/Intel FPGAs, so relevant experience with (one of) these platforms and related tools is necessary. You are able to transfer knowledge to junior designers in a coaching role.

Wat we van jou verwachten

• BSc or MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science;
• Must have (!): minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience as FPGA engineer;
• Senior experience with VHDL;
• Experience with Xilinx or Altera/Intel tools and platforms;
• Experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, Mentor Modelsim, Matlab/Simulink or other simulation tools and verification/validation flows;
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or Tcl;
• Practical/hands-on experience with integration of firmware, software and hardware;
• Experience with technical coaching of junior designers is a plus;
• Experience with HLS (Catapult, Vivado HLS etc) or C/C++ is a plus;
• Experience in semiconductor or medical industry is a plus;
• Good communication and writing skills in English.
