We are looking for a Fire Safety Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of ensuring safety and compliance in various projects. This role involves leading internal fire, explosion, and flooding risk analyses, performing calculations and simulations, and providing pragmatic recommendations.
- Lead internal fire, explosion, and flooding risk analysis following applicable regulations and standards.
- Perform fire, explosion, and flooding calculation and simulation studies.
- Validate the coherence between required and existing fire protection/detection means.
- Manage interfaces and ensure efficient communication between stakeholders.
- Coach junior engineers and follow up on sub-contracted studies/simulations.
Wat we van jou verwachten
- Civil Engineer diploma (Mechanical Engineer, Fire Safety Engineer, Nuclear Engineer is an asset) or equivalent.
- For Medior: 5 years of proven experience in fire engineering; ability to take initiative and work autonomously on easy tasks.
- For Senior: 10 years of proven experience in fire engineering; ability to assume responsibilities, coach/follow-up people, and work autonomously.
- Good language skills: French and English (Dutch is an asset).
- Good computer and data processing skills; ability to draft reports, technical papers, and synthesis documents.
