MOT Design Segment Lead – Transportation Infrastructure

• Lead design development and make key engineering decisions for complex Design-Build/P3 projects.
• Stay actively involved with engineering software relevant to your tasks.
• Serve as the discipline Project Engineer on medium to large projects, overseeing the work of your team.
• Plan, direct, and supervise large-scale engineering projects requiring substantial manpower and financial resources.
• Guide fellow engineers and design personnel, promoting technical excellence and supporting growth in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary studies and analyses.
• Ensure designs meet all applicable codes and regulations, providing your professional engineer seal and signature when required.
• Prepare material and equipment specifications, review supplier data, conduct shop tests, and assess supplier manufacturing capabilities.
• Perform surveys, studies, and site investigations as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies through professional affiliations.
• Assist with determining budget estimates, staffing requirements, and other administrative or technical duties.
• Recommend and prepare technical papers for publication.

Wat we van jou verwachten

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Must be willing to co-locate with the design team in metro Atlanta (out-of-state candidates should expect significant travel).
• Proven ability to perform in a leadership role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry practices, standards, and regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of current technologies and engineering software applications.
