As a Video Streaming Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and optimization of video content within a broadcast and OTT (Over-The-Top) environment. Purpose of The Role: 

• Video OTT/ Broadcast Environment: Work within a video OTT/broadcast environment, ensuring high-quality video delivery for live-streaming and on-demand services. 
• Video Codecs & Compression: Ensure efficient and optimized video streaming by working with video codecs (H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC) and compression techniques. 
• Audio Codecs & Containers: Manage and support audio codecs and containers (AAC, PCM, AC-3, EAC-3, MPEG-1 Layer-II) to ensure optimal audio quality during video streaming. 
• Live Streaming Delivery at Scale: Support and troubleshoot live-streaming delivery at scale, ensuring that video content is streamed efficiently and reliably to a large audience. 
• AWS Media Services: Support the integration and management of video streaming infrastructure using AWS Media Services. 

Wat we van jou verwachten

• M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 2+ years of experience in a video OTT or Broadcast environment. 
• Hands-on experience with AWS Media Services and DAI workflows. 
• Proficiency in video codecs and compression (H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC). 
• Familiarity with audio codecs and containers (AAC, PCM, AC-3, EAC-3, MPEG-1 Layer-II). 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and facilitate project success. 
• Good command of Italian and English language. 
• Serious motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC.
