TMC strengthens leadership team: new CFO joining and current CFO taking on strategic role

TMC is entering its next phase of growth with a stronger focus on international expansion and strategic acquisitions. In this context, TMC is expanding its top management team with the appointment of Jan-Pieter van Winsen as the new CFO, while former CFO Rogier van Beek, after 16 years, has chosen to take on the strategic role of Chief of Staff. TMC CEO Emmanuel Mottrie now leads the three-member executive team, while founder Thijs Manders remains involved in the company’s strategic direction.

Focus on international expansion and strategic acquisitions

TMC has experienced significant growth in recent years and now operates in 16 countries with 3,000 employees. Recent expansions into Germany and Saudi Arabia, along with the acquisitions of Mobilee, Guldberg, Personites, and OPS, underscore this growth strategy. Meanwhile, emerging challengers like Italy and France are making an increasing impact, further strengthening TMC’s presence in key markets. In December 2024, TMC renewed its partnership with investor Apheon, while British investment firm MML Capital joined as a new investor. The top management remains committed to further international expansion and acquisitions.

This sharpened focus has created a need for a dedicated Chief of Staff to oversee major acquisitions, integration projects, and expanding departments. After serving as TMC’s CFO for 16 years, Van Beek has chosen to step into this role. In his new position, he will coordinate company-wide projects across IT, Marketing, HR, and M&A. “Having experienced all the seasons as CFO, I look forward to stepping into a role where I can leverage my knowledge to further develop TMC, with a stronger focus on our people and processes”, says Van Beek.

Van Winsen joins TMC as CFO

With over 20 years of experience at Randstad, where he held various financial positions, Van Winsen brings extensive international expertise to TMC. He has held leadership roles in Portugal, the Netherlands, and the United States, most recently serving as CFO of Randstad Digital. In this role, Van Winsen was responsible for financial strategy and growth. At TMC, he will focus on further professionalising the financial organisation and supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans.

About his transition to TMC Van Winsen states: “It is incredible to see how TMC has evolved over the past 25 years. The entrepreneurial culture and people at TMC stood out to me immediately, and I can’t wait to get to know everyone. This new challenge is an exciting next step in my career, particularly because of the dynamic stakeholder environment that combines business and private equity. TMC is operating in a market with enormous growth opportunities and I cannot wait to work with everyone at TMC to capture these.”

Strong management team for sustainable growth

With the appointments of Van Winsen and Van Beek, TMC is strengthening its management structure to drive sustainable growth. Mottrie commented: “With the ambition to employ 10,000 people by 2032, having a strong management team at the helm is essential. The new composition of the executive team ensures a balance of continuity and fresh energy, focused on sustainable growth and strengthening our internal processes. We are at the start of an exciting new growth phase.”
