About this vacancy

As a Solution Architect, you will be designing solutions that streamline the acquisition and transformation of data from our client's tools and that link this data to the manufacturing context in which this data was created.
The solutions will offer the data to the R&D community in a structured format, through practical interfaces (API’s, web user interfaces, ...).
You have a keen eye for data and application architecture, an analytical mind, a talent for bringing structure and clarity, and a collaborative spirit to join our team of innovators.
Your contributions will play a crucial role in driving our client program towards greater heights of research and development excellence.
You will be working in the context of our Azure data platform, where we develop and use the latest technologies in data engineering and data science to help our researchers go from raw data to insights.
Onboard more data from more cleanroom tools to our data platform and to build more interfaces and use cases together with our data engineers, our front-end engineers and our R&D key users.

What we expect from you

Solution architecture and business analysis as core capabilities (minimum 10 years of experience).
Knowledge of Data is a key differentiator (Data architecture, Data modeling, Data Engineering, Data science, ...).
Knowledge of a cloud-based application stack is a key differentiator.
Understanding of Rest API’s, SQL, ...
Experience with our technology stack is a plus (Azure, PowerBI, Spark, Python, Containers, Airflow, ...).
Fluent in English.
Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Ability to own technical solutions from idea to delivery.
