About this vacancy

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of software and electrical engineering specialists. After the handover of the pre-engineering stage, you will be responsible for the entire software trajectory. You will develop the PLC and robot software, draft functional and test documentation, and oversee the commissioning of the machine—both in the workshop and at the client’s location.

The projects are all tailor-made, without fixed standards. This means plenty of room for personal input and technical creativity. You will work closely with colleagues from other disciplines and act as the technical point of contact for both the team and the client.

Your responsibilities:
  • Developing and programming PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal, B&R Automation Studio)
  • Commissioning and fine-tuning servo drives
  • Programming and testing safety PLCs
  • Offline simulation and preparation of robot code (RobotStudio)
  • Functionally testing and teaching machines in the workshop
  • Drafting functional and test documentation
  • Commissioning at clients’ locations both domestically and abroad
  • Engaging in technical discussions with internal teams and external stakeholders

What we expect from you

  • Experience with PLC control technology and servo systems
  • Knowledge of industrial robotics (ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa) or willingness to learn
  • Affinity with mechanics and process technology (e.g., welding processes)
  • Practical and structured work approach
  • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally (in consultation)
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, industrial automation, or equivalent
