About this vacancy

In this position, you will be responsible for defining processes, creating fluidic diagrams, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of hydrogen systems.

Develop P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for hydrogen production systems.
Write operating instructions and conduct functional analyses for hydrogen processes.
Perform mass and heat balances to ensure optimal process performance.
Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies and monitor actions for risk mitigation.
Write the Safety Requirement Specification for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
Perform ATEX zoning calculations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

What we expect from you

Engineering degree in chemistry, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering.
10 years of experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry, ideally with expertise in hydrogen systems. (Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is a plus.)
Proficient in creating P&IDs and writing functional analyses. Proficient with P&ID drawing software such as AutoCAD.
Experience in HAZOP participation, knowledge of ATEX and PED regulations.
Familiar with Safety Instrumented Systems (IEC 61511), understanding of API (e.g., API 521) and ASME standards (e.g., ASME B31.12).
Experience with sizing control valves and valves.
Fluency in French and English.
