About this vacancy

The Senior Engineer Mechanics will cooperate with other disciplines in the quotation phase and in project teams and will interface with suppliers to define the functions of the module components. She/He is responsible for translating customer requirements into component/process requirements, the actual mechanical (3D/2D) design of the parts (in alignment with suppliers), verification and release of the module and it’s components.

What we expect from you

Requirement is a master in Mechanics
Experience as mech. engineer in a product development or technology development position
Experience with CAD design is required, preferably in Creo/Windchill
Experience in an Automotive environment is a plus
Able to think in concepts, affinity with technology development and innovation
Good knowledge of English is assumed; knowledge of German is preferred
Team player with very good communication skills.
Strong interest in product design and innovation, able to set the direction
Experience in product development with conceptual thinking, and drive to perform
Willing to travel sometimes to Asia and within Europe

Experience with development of (cosmetic) plastic parts, metal (diecast) parts is preferred
