VDL ETG Almelo is a high-tech development and production partner specializing in the realization of complex modules and systems for sectors such as semicon, medical technology, solar energy, and aerospace. As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for monitoring and improving the production process and end product. You act as the connecting link between operations, engineering, project teams, and clients, ensuring continuous quality and efficiency improvements.

Your tasks:

  • Implementing and verifying processes aimed at continuous improvement
  • Conducting tests and quality controls and initiating improvement actions
  • Keeping clients informed about ongoing projects and improvement trajectories
  • Playing an active role in operations, with your improvement proposals translated into DMAIC projects and Kaizen actions
  • Taking ownership in problem-solving and analyzing reports from internal and external parties

What we expect from you

We are looking for a colleague who thinks in terms of solutions rather than problems. Someone who enjoys collaboration and takes ownership in projects. You are communicative, analytical, and passionate about production and technology. Your profile: - Completed technical higher education (HBO or WO) in Technical Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics. - Strong communication skills and customer-oriented. - Analytical and precise, with initiative and ownership. - A team player who collaborates effectively. - Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is a plus (experience gained during studies, internships, or projects is also valuable).
